Commerce refers to the act of carrying out trade and business. Commerce helps in building camaraderie and business relations among nations. Students also have commerce as a part of their curriculum. Commerce, as a subject, deals with accounts, economics and other related stuff. Commerce is one of the most flourishing streams these days, owing to its popularity among students. Several colleges worldwide provide education on commerce to millions of students.
When we look of commerce as a means of flourishing business relations among nations, Thomas Jefferson's quote comes to mind. He had said, "Peace, commerce and honest friendship with all nations; entangling alliances with none." He encouraged commerce among nations as a means of building long time camaraderie but union with any other nation was not entertained by him. Commerce only helps in bringing nations together. Imports and exports of several commodities among nations is nothing but commerce itself.
