Self esteem is often referred to as the holding of a high opinion of one’s self, thinking high of one’s self. Every individual is entitled to hold an opinion about him. It is almost imperative to have a high level of self esteem. It helps us to feel good about our own abilities and capacities. It enables us to grow and develop in our lives and also to attract positive things towards oneself.
