Emotion is defined as a strong feeling of joy, anger, sadness etc. Emotion is a very instinctive feeling as opposed to reasoning. You tend to get emotional depending upon the situation. It is very difficult for people to hide any emotion. An emotion can give a wrong indication, too. A smiling person, showing joy may possibly have worm-like grieves, eating them from within. In the words of Paul Cezanne, “A work of art which did not begin in emotion is not art.”
Never let any emotion overcome you. Sadness is one such emotion which can deteriorate a person internally. Never be a victim of any emotion. In the words of Stanley Kubrick, “A film is or should be more like music than like fiction. It should be a progression of moods and feelings. The theme, that is behind the emotion, the meaning, all that comes later.” Emotion is purely based on instinct and arousal of emotion depends upon the varying circumstances.
