Engineering is the branch of study that deals with design, building, and use of engines, machines and structures. Engineering specialisation can be done in various subjects like computer science, electronics and communication, information technology etc. Engineering requires aptitude and a technical bent of mind. In the words of Freeman Dyson, “A good scientist is a person with original ideas. A good engineer is a person who makes a design that works with as few original ideas as possible. There are no prime donnas in engineering.”
Engineering is a course that is long term and in the duration of the engineering course, the students make many projects, research papers and other technical documentation. In the words of Walter Gropius, “Architecture begins where engineering ends.” Engineers are much required by every nation to look after their infrastructure and design work.
