Gifts are something that we give to someone as a token of love or appreciation. Basically, these are the two cases when gifts are received or given. Gifts always excite those who are supposed to receive them. While unpacking gifts, there is always an excitement in your veins as to what probably can be your gift. Mary Pipher had once remarked, “Adolescence is when girls experience social pressure to put aside their authentic selves and to display only a small portion of their gifts.”
Another reason for receiving gifts is when you have accomplished a feat of sorts. When you have an achievement to your credit, then you are rewarded or gifted for your special efforts. Excelling in any task is not everybody’s cup of tea. Friends are also gifts to us. Blessed is the man who has many friends and their support.
