In our lifetime one of the hardest things to commit to is living a humble existence, but doing so is necessary to live an existence with meaning. Living in a world that encourages people to battle over the top spots in just about every different aspect of life, it is hard not to take pride in one’s craft or accomplishments. Pride is something that will never completely die, and being humble is a challenge that one must conquer time and time again in his/her lifetime. Being humble isn’t living a life without pride, but is more of being able to control one’s pride so that it doesn’t turn into arrogance. It is alright to be confident in yourself and your abilities, but when a person is living life and being humble as they should their pride will never outshine their persona, and will never define them.
