"I deserve better" is something one says to oneself after a break-up. This is done to make ourselves realize that all is lost and perhaps there is something better lined up for us in the future. Telling yourself "I deserve better" is one of the best ways to console yourself and feel better. There is always light at the end of the tunnel and if things did not work out with one person does not mean that they will not work out with someone else also.
On the contrary, telling yourselves that you deserve better time and again does not put in compliance with God. You should be grateful for what you have and just believe in your hard work and have faith that you will eventually succeed in your plans. Hard work always comes back to you eventually. So, stop saying this to yourself and life will give you what you need.
