Women are supposed to be the milder and the more docile sex but today women are growing independent and can fend for themselves. Gone are the days when women were confined to the four walls of the house. Women today are educated, out-going and employed. The fact that they are educated and employed has gone a long way in making women independent. Betty Ford had once remarked, “I have an independent streak. You know, it's kind of hard to tell a independent woman what to do.” Women understand what is right and what is wrong for them. Women today are mostly earning which makes them do whatever they want. They can provide for their lodging, dresses, accessories etc. They have the liberty to party and hang out with their friends once in a while basically on weekends to bust stress. Women who work outside their own cities are on their own and manage their own expenses. This is what makes the women of today more forward and independent. Independent women can also raise a child by themselves, if forced by conditions. Gone are the days when females were dependent on males for raking them out for excursions, buying them stuff like dresses and accessories etc.
