A law is a rule or system of rules that governs the actions of the people in a country or community. The court preserves the law in a region and decides several cases. A law is also the term used for laying the correct procedure or behaviour in a court. Judges are public officers and qualified people who decide cases brought up in court. Law is a term used for any statement of fact that states that a particular phenomenon always occurs if certain conditions are present. A law is a rule of construction or of procedure. In the words of Martin Luther King, “One who breaks an unjust law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for law.” Anyone who breaks the law is considered guilty and a punishment is announced to him by the court judiciary.
