Instinct is the natural or inherent inclination of a human being towards a particular kind of behaviour. Instinct drives a human being many a times and may be present from the time of birth or develops with maturity. Instinct can also be deemed as sixth sense that makes you to predict the possible outcomes of any event or action. Pablo Picasso had remarked, “Art is not the application of a canon of beauty but what the instinct and the brain can conceive beyond any canon. When we love a woman we don't start measuring her limbs.”
Instinct drives you towards something or the other. It is the natural urge or force from within that gives you directions and leads you somewhere or the other. Killer instinct is a term for the aggressive attitude that some people possess. It is the desire to take things head on. In the words of Bertrand Russell, “Collective fear stimulates herd instinct, and tends to produce ferocity toward those who are not regarded as members of the herd.”
