To err is human but making amends for the mistake we have done is a sign of maturity. Once we have decided to make amends, we must do it immediately. It is not failure or subordination to make amends but you stand above others when you make amends. Past is past and you cannot set right the mistake but making amends is in our hands. There are certain people who make fool of those who make amends but you will have the last laugh because the fruits of making amends are sweeter than to live with the bitter taste of enmity. Making amends earns you one more friend. If you fail to make amends, the negative thought grows on and on only to spread its tentacles farther. So, make amends and do it as soon as possible to cut enmity at the grass root level itself.
