Control over one’s anger, control over one’s desires and ambitions, goes a long way in making one stable and successful in life. One, who has control over his desires, will never resort to any wrong ways of realizing his or her goals. A person who exercises self-control never indulges in any vices, but is a person who upholds many virtues. A person, who has control over his anger, will never bear enmity against anyone. He will have a multitude of friends, who will be his pillar of support or alter ego, through thick and thin. Buddha had rightly said, “To enjoy good health, to bring true happiness to one’s family, to bring peace to all, one must first discipline and control one’s own mind. If a man can control his mind, he can find the way to enlightenment, and all wisdom and virtue will naturally come to him.”
