Pilgrimage is the journey undertaken to a holy place for religious purposes. There are many such places pertaining to religions of Hindu, Islam, Christianity, Jew, and Sikh and so on and each place holds a religious significance. The people belonging to a particular religion make it a point to take a pilgrimage at least once in their life to such places. It is believed that it wards off their sins and therefore, given due importance by the religious leaders. Besides the belief ,pilgrimage offers great experience and exposure to far and wide places. Our life is compared to a pilgrimage and to quote Swami Sivananda, “life is a pilgrimage. The wise man does not rest by the road side inns.
