The word progress leads to advancement or improvement. One can progress only when one works with sincerity and dedication. You have to strive hard to move from strength to strength. Only those people who are ready to persevere and work harder and smarter, can progress steadily in life. Steady progress in any field of interest leads to growth and prosperity. If one does not think of progressing steadily, then things stay at the same level and life becomes stagnant and monotonous. You need to work out the ways and means of your progress. Progress requires you to be updated about the possibilities of growth and advancement in your field of work or endeavour. In the words of Martin Luther King, “Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals. All progress is precarious, and the solution of one problem brings us face to face with another problem.”
