It is the state of being rich. Someone is said to be rich if he or she has great wealth and lives in great luxury. Lifestyles of the rich and the famous are all a repercussion of the bounties that they possess. One is bound to become rich if one constantly endeavours and moves towards his or her goal. Richness should not spoil anyone, though. Rich people also end up becoming spoiled brats and become addicted to alcohol, drugs etc. Addiction to such stuff is one of the ill-effects of richness. Rich people also tend to look down upon the poor. Richness is a state which is very temporary and not permanent. So, rich people should never let all their wealth and luxury go to their head. Helen Keller had once remarked, “The marvellous richness of human experience would lose something of rewarding joy if there were no limitations to overcome. The hilltop hour would not be half so wonderful if there were no dark valleys to traverse.”
