A solution as defined in chemistry is a homogeneous mixture composed of only a single phase. The substance dissolved is called solute and the liquid in which the solute is dissolved is called the solvent. For example, while forming NaCl Solution, NaCl is the solute and water is the solvent. The ability of the solute to get dissolved in a solution is called solubility. When one liquid can dissolve completely in another liquid, then both the liquids are termed as miscible else they are immiscible. Solution can also be defined as the probable method or means of tackling or handling a problem. All problems can be solved and dealt with by finding an appropriate solution. According to Sarah Polley, “AIDS is a global problem and there should be a global solution found by the entire international community. It is really scary to see and imagine our world fall into pieces because we refuse to share and put in the common vestiges of our civilizations.”
