The present means the current time or moment. Past precedes the present and the future follows the present. People always believe in staying in the present and living the moment because past is history, future is mystery and present is the present or gift of God. The present is always instrumental in shaping our future. So, it deserved all our attention and efforts. According to Albert Einstein, “The distinction between the past, present and future is only a stubbornly persistent illusion.” Maximize your efforts today so that you can see a better tomorrow. As you sow, so shall you reap. Don’t cling to any negative or sad events that occurred in the past. The past is over and done with. Thinking about something that is already done and cannot be undone will just waste time and energy. So, live in the present. In the words of Buddha, “Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment.”
