Theology is the systematic and rational study of any particular religion and its influences and the nature of religious truths. People who study about religion and its influence are called theologians. Theologians are given specialized training in religious studies. Theology is taught and practiced at university or school of divinity or any seminary. In the words of Roger Ebert, “Catholic theology believes that God gave man free will, and you can't give somebody free will and then send in a play from the sidelines.” Theology is basically the science of God or religion. It deals with presence, existence and attributes of God. Theology revolves around knowledge from the scriptures, the systematic exhibition of revealed truth and the science of Christian faith and life.
