Wives are the female partners in a marriage. A female becomes someone’s wife post marriage. Wives are the elements of any family who manage everyone at home and act as the common source of communication between her spouse and everyone else in the family. An ideal wife is considered to be someone who can be an efficient homemaker and take care of her kids and family to perfection. Wives are the backbone of any family. Wine and wives empty man’s purses. But wives on the contrary are known to manage the home budget and exercise economy while managing all the family expenditures. The rights and obligations of wives regarding to their spouse is something that varies from culture to culture and country to country. In the words of Washington Irving, “A father may turn his back on his child, brothers and sisters may become inveterate enemies, husbands may desert their wives, wives their husbands. But a mother's love endures through all.”
