Zeal means enthusiasm or the zest to do something or the other. Zeal is very necessary to increase your efficiency and throughout at work or in your field of interest. One shows zeal in something which interests us and we find quite worthwhile. In the words of Mohandas Gandhi, “A policy is a temporary creed liable to be changed, but while it holds good it has got to be pursued with apostolic zeal.” Zeal is what drives you to give that extra at work and get the maximum output from your efforts. Zeal is shown in any new venture that one takes up. This zeal is tantamount to excitement for something new that occurs and this zeal can fade away with time if the task at hand turns monotonous. In the words of Hosea Ballou, “Never let your zeal out run your charity. The former is but human, the latter is divine.”
