In life there is a lesson to be learned in all of your victories and all of your defeats. Don't let things like failed relationships bring you down or stop you from ever wanting to trust another human being again. Forgive those who have abused your trust, those who are supposed to be with you but act as if they are against you, those who have been willing to not only break your heart, but willing to betray you as well.

When you are able to forgive others, even if they are unapologetic for the wrongs that they have committed against you, only then will your mind truly be free. Those who are willing to hold grudges against those who trespass against them are only doing their own selves a disservice. Being unforgiving to someone doesn't benefit any person at all. It causes pain to be experienced over and over again that just doesn't need to be thought about on such a high level.

In every single person's life lies a mistake made by a person that they wish they could take back, whether they are ready to admit it or not. The only way to move past the regret of a mistake in our lives that still causes us pain is to forgive yourself for it. Not only is it our right to, but forgiving our selves allows us to move past obstacles in our lives that we would not have otherwise moved past without doing so.

This is a message to both those of a younger age, and those of an older age with children to care for. As parents it is easy for us to get aggravated with our children when they do something immature or what we may consider, just plain stupid. Do remember, a time ago, when you were just a young kid, and you defied all authority to do something outrageously stupid. Making mistakes is just a part of growing up and learning how to be an adult so parents, always remember to exercise the use of patience when dealing with your children.

Forgiveness is a major part of life that almost everyone has trouble doing. Learning to forgive someone that has wronged us is a very long and difficult process that must be done. Without forgiveness we can not let go of the bitterness and resentment we have towards someone, and without letting go of these things, they start to eat back at us spiritually, emotionally, and eventually physically. When we remain angry for extended periods of time it definitely takes a toll on our bodies, for example, with a rise in blood pressure.
