Though we all have a variety in what figures played maternal and paternal roles in our lives, we must put an emphasis on showing the love we have for our parents, consistently, for as long as they live. Show them love by giving them the gift of you! Spend quality time with them, listen to the same old stories over and over again, eat with them, clean for them, and make sure that you tell them, and show them in ways best suited for your own relationships, how much you appreciate and love them.

If we are ever to keep a strong heart we have to be willing to do the things in life that hardly anyone else is willing to do. We have to be willing to keep our heads up. Yes, sometimes the battle will get difficult. Sometimes it will feel as if we aren't equipped enough to do the things that we always wished that we could do. Sometimes it will be cold when we need it to be warm, and sometimes it will be wet when we need it to be dry.

No situation in life will be the perfect set up if we are on the way to greatness. Greatness isn't made by not being challenged. People who never have to work for anything in their lives don't make greatness. Greatness is made by determination, focus, and dedication to the plan or vision we have in our hearts. So keep your head up, keep your heart strong, keep on pushing.
