Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. said it best when he spoke of the unwearying grind of the pursuit of justice. Pursuing and standing for what's right is a journey that is in the least a struggle, sometimes it may be the loneliest most agonizing activity in our compact lifetime, but as Dr. King's life is evidence of, it is also most rewarding. As we take time to remember Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. on this glorious day, maybe it is time for you to seek justice in an area that you are most passionate about.

The legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. has impacted the world greatly, and probably the most by one man in over 100 years. His constant determination to bring about change to an American society rotted with hundreds of years of hatred and racism was unparalleled, and to this day the world hasn't met a man quite like Dr. King. Born a poor preacher's son, Dr. King was effected greatly by growing up as a young African-American boy, and seeing how his people were treated so unfairly, he made it his living to fight for the equal treatment of his people. Unfortunately Dr. King died as a martyr for this cause, and was never able to see the fruits of his labor, but he would more than likely be pleased to see the change that he pushed so hard for is closer than ever.

Whether we realize it or not even the smallest choices we make throughout a day in time will effect our overall lifestyle and happiness. In times of difficulty we have a choice, we can let our difficult time bring our spirits down, and let it overcome us. Or we can make the best out of the situation, continue to think positive, and try our best to overcome it. Choosing to think and act positively in situations where it may be easier to just do what our flesh tells us to, is how we choose to live our lives instead of dying.

Pain is an intense sensation of feeling, stereotypically seen as causing distress and uncomfortable, whether it be physical or emotional. The joy of being human allows for us all to experience pain, and overcoming pain is one of life's biggest challenges. A lot of people fear pain, but don't realize that through their pain they grow a tremendous amount mentally, emotionally and physically.

For example, in order for a body builder to make massive gains in size and in strength it is imperative that their bodies be pushed to the limit, leaving them in pain during and after exercise, to acquire the most out of each workout. It takes years for a body builder to turn professional but all their pain and hard work pays off in the end if they push their selves hard enough. This example is synonymous with pain in a lot of different aspects of our lives. Without hard work, dedication, and of course some pain, all gains will be minimal, it takes going through pain to see how far you have come later on in life.

Sometimes the best thing to do for you is to let certain people leave your life. Though it may be a hard thing to do, because of the love you once shared for someone, or the time you feel you wasted if they just exit from your life now, it is probably for the better. Remember that this world is equipped with billions of people so there is probably always someone out there who will love u with more compassion, give you more of their time, tell you how much they appreciate and love you, and many other things to make you feel more loved than ever.
