Even for those who may not be spiritual, prayer is still an essential part of life that we should all take part in. God is someone you can talk to when you can't talk to anyone else about a situation or tough time that you may be experiencing in life. Prayer is also very refreshing, being able to get things off of your chest and mind that you haven't been able to get off with anyone else can be a freeing experience. It is important to pray and wish well for all of our loved ones and friends, the ones in seasons past, present and future. Praying and wishing well to those who may have done us wrong, is the biggest act of forgiveness, that we could possibly commit. It is important to note that it is very easy to say that you forgive somebody, the hardest thing to do is to actually speak out loud continued blessings to this person or people. In our lives as most of us already have experienced, we must embrace challenges put before us, because they are an inevitable portion of life itself. Translated, this quote actually should be interpreted as looking past the fact that there are going to be challenges that you may face in life, and to pray for the strength and resources to be able to handle these challenges, instead of asking not to be challenged or tested. Without tests in life we would never know what strengths and weaknesses we have, and without challenges in life everyone would be lackadaisical and without a care in the world. There would be no use for goals or accomplishments, as easy as everything would come to everybody.

Whether we realize it or not even the smallest choices we make throughout a day in time will effect our overall lifestyle and happiness. In times of difficulty we have a choice, we can let our difficult time bring our spirits down, and let it overcome us. Or we can make the best out of the situation, continue to think positive, and try our best to overcome it. Choosing to think and act positively in situations where it may be easier to just do what our flesh tells us to, is how we choose to live our lives instead of dying.
