Why is my boyfriends ex-girlfriend still friends with his family on Facebook?

My boyfriends family is still friends with his ex girlfriend and she is ALWAYS up their butt, what do I do/say (nicely) to get them to get rid of her, the family likes me but I don't like the fact that she is still around shes the past and I'm the present and future and I'm not going anywhere ;)

Maybe because they already build a strong foundation of friendship, i know how are you feeling right now, your kinda jealous but then just bear in mind that you are the present girlfriend as long as you feel that your boyfriend still loves you no need to worry. Remember: it doesn't who is the first what matters most is the last ^^ and i hope that you'll be the LAST :)

cause they are friends and maybe have lots of stuff in common except the fact she is an ex! i think it's better to be cool about it!
