to make him forget he was ever hurt is to be the best the best girlfreind you can be and show him youll never hurt him, and tell him everyday youd never hurt him and you love him..a person who can really heal a broken heart is a person whos had their own heart broken!

make him understand that you appreciate him or like make him understand that what he has now (you) is way more important and better than his past.

He is letting his past control his present and future. If you love him, talk to him about what happened in the past and help him get over it. This is the only way things will work out and if you cannot help him then you gotta leave him be until he can overcome this and get himself in order. If this continues he will only bring you down too.

Pay more attention to him and make new beautiful memories.

talk to him... if he cannot forget the past, u have to accept that as an understanding gf. give him some times to recovery. probably its hard for him. 5 months still early, u need more patience to continue ur relationship. its accepting the way he is. make him more happy being with u, stay positive, he will open his heart in the good time. no worries.

thank you inggita...I am very understanding in him and positive.. and we are so happy together.. Its just that I feel more like to settle down than him.. just confusing feeling.

yes there's no way to forget the past. To visit the past its fine but to live with it its NOT. cos if we live the past, we limit our future cos we too much afraid if it'll happen again. Hope he will leave the past completely. I want him to make happy and full of love only if he never limit his life with me.. thanks bubbles..great one :))

hes probably afraid to lose you or thinking that something might happen between you amd him so hes probably still at the stage of that , it may take sometime for him such as a navy seal coming back from iraq or so , it may take him a while to stop jumping while sleeping when his girlfriend/wife touches him in bed ,
