it would make me mad but its not lying just ask if the person has kids if he says no and you find out that he does then you can be mad and say hes lying

no i dont think so because when you tell people you have a child they might not want to date or continue seeing you but its still not cool to not tell you

i don't think it would be consider lying, since you never asked him... however, i do think he should've said something to you right away. the fact that you had to find out over fb is pretty strange, why couldn't he have told you (and several months!)? I honestly would feel verrry upset, have you talked to him about it?? i would see that as a red flag if he didn't tell you...
