It can exist but in this era it would be hard to deal with. Many different social mountains to climb between a young guy and older woman. It can work but many of times, it won't.

Personally, I don't like the idea but I do think it is just a number, especially when It comes to love. You can't tell your heart no because they have been on the planet longer then you or visa versa.
