Bc a lot of ppl are just bored and want to play around. You'd think they genuinely liked you but it's just so easy for them to turn behind your back and then dumb you without a care. Bc damaged (emotionally) ppl believe that if they break you they'll feel better and like they achieved sth. Just be brave and move on; you don't need anyone who doesn't need you and no one deserves your tears or heartbreak. Surround yourself with kind-hearted ppl and you'll find happiness eventually. Focus on urself
