so my ex boyfriend got mad at me when i told him me and my bestfriend been dating for five years but i was joking and he got mad.

he is your ex why would he get mad at you that means he still loves which means he is jealous which means you have to tell him the truth if you like him or you dont. you should ask yourself why you call him an ex.
