My little brother asked me this couldn't answer this, it really makes me confuse!!

Because earth gravity is pulling everything into the center of earth

Two things (every thing has mass)absorb each other what we see in universe is the effect of this force physics come from our experiments and what we see. they don't have logical and mathematical reason.Newton pay attention to dropping down the thing(Apple)and search for reason with experimental measurement and say what is gravity and their formula.

How fast something falls due to gravity is determined by a number known as the "acceleration of gravity", which is 9.81 m/s^2 at the surface of our Earth. Basically this means that in one second, any object's downward velocity will increase by 9.81 m/s because of gravity. This is just the way gravity works - it accelerates everything at exactly the same rate.....

Gravity pulls everything down towards the earth because gravity is from the earth so it can't drop anything up

Tell him Gravity attracts things to the EARTH not to the up. Gravity is from the earth. That is why you have to put up more energy to lift up a heavy material up the ground and in so doing, you're trying to overcome the earth's attraction of such object. The heavier the object the more the earth attracts it under gravitational force and the greater the force needed to overcome the gravitational pull.. The lighter an object, the less attraction e.g. Balloons (supported by a force from the air or wind) can go up against gravity.

So people can stay on earth instead flying everywhere, gravity was made to keep things down.

Gravity pulls things down because of your terrific English :)

"What is gravity" is a bit more difficult to answer because we don't really know. There are several guesses, called theories, but none is absolutely certain over the others.

Heavy Question- the elements and components which makes up the human body- has a magnetic attraction to the earth's gravitational pull (which is the earth's core). Think about refrigerator magnet- in this scenario- the human is the magnet and refrigerator represent the within element (core) which is attracting the magnet (human)- otherwise- we would be minus gravity- more similar to an astronaut in moving around in space.

It has to do with Newton's Second Law, "For every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction." Gravity has the potential to drop everything, but some forces are stronger than gravity in some circumstances therefore causing another result.
