Trying to understand why certain things happen in our individual lives is sort of like trying to understand how the Grand Canyon got its shape by examining every little ripple of water in the Colorado River. I believe who we really are in God's eyes is beyond our comprehension; we are so much bigger than the events that shape us.
This experience called life is just the means that offers unlimited oportunities for the perpetual refinement of our soul. Every experience; whether painful or pleasurable, is just another tiny ripple transforming us into something more.
