Women who feel overwhelmed rarely get the support they need. They do not know how to be vulnerable or to ask for it. Since they are seen as self-sufficient, help is rarely offered. If it is, it's rejected. No one is allowed to see the vulnerable part of her. Everyone is encouraged to regard with admiration the strong and giving side. Such women have trouble contacting their needs and giving themselves for a change. There is little a man can do for them unless he understands that the stronger these women appear, the more needy they are deep within.
