Being immature implies being childish and amateur. If you are immature, you are not considered capable enough to take your own decisions. You behave very abnormally and don’t understand the gravity of a tense and intriguing situation. Being immature is a quality that we generally associate with children and kids who are not enough wise to take their decisions and choose between the right and the wrong. As we grow, we develop both mentally and physically. A grown up person or adult is supposed to be more wise and intelligent. He can take his own decisions rationally and has more experience and wisdom than a teenager. Immature people gain maturity with time and age as they grow both physically and mentally. Maturity comes with time and age. So, there should not be any hassles in dealing with immature teenagers or youngsters. You should remember that you cannot expect them to be too mature and understand everything. In the words of George P. Baker, “Rare is the human being, immature or mature, who has never felt an impulse to pretend he is some one or something else.”
