Communism is the system in which the entire land or property is owned by a community. Such a system was practised in China under the name, Marxism. Karl Marx referred to communism as a spectre or a ghost that haunted Europe for quite a long time. Communism brings power in the hands of a selected few, who usurp the entire land of the region and rule over it. Other people inhabiting the area are brought under subjugation by these communists.
In the words of Pierre Joseph Proudhon, "A common danger tends to concord. Communism is the exploitation of the strong by the weak. In communism, inequality comes from placing mediocrity on a level with excellence". Communism is a bane for the society since ordinary people have no liberty to express themselves. Communism can never lead to a society’s progress and need to be eradicated completely in regions where it is still practised.
