A group of people living together and interacting with each other form a community. Community grows with increasing population and contacts among people forming the community. A community acts like one big umbrella, providing shade to several people in bulk. Quote Alice Hoffman, "Any institution becomes a community- whether it is a high school or a boarding school or a publishing company or a small town where everybody knows certain things about people."
So, the basis or roots of any community depends upon familiarity existing among its members. For a community to flourish and survive, its members need to be united and should stand by each other, invariably. This synergy holds a community together strongly and binds its members. Community can develop only if there is some population eager to start one. Community thrives in peace and joy if its members respect each other and are always there to support each other.
