George W. Bush was the 43rd president of USA and had a convincing and long stint as the President which lasted from 2001-2009. He was born on the 6th July, 1946. He was the 46th Governor of the Texas. George W. Bush has a sound academics background. He completed his graduation from Yale University in 1968 and passed out from Harvard Business School in 1975. He then tried his luck in oil business. He married Lara Welch in 1977. In the year 2000, he was elected President in a close and controversial election. George W. Bush had once remarked, “America is a Nation with a mission - and that mission comes from our most basic beliefs. We have no desire to dominate, no ambitions of empire. Our aim is a democratic peace - a peace founded upon the dignity and rights of every man and woman.” George W. Bush was very influential as the US president and was awarded Time Person of the year award in 2001 and 2004.
