The word “harmony” has several interpretations. Harmony is a combination of musical notes which when sounded together at the same time, produce chords with a pleasing effect. The essence of this interpretation would be clear to a musician who has in-depth knowledge of notes, chords and musical instruments. Harmony also refers to peace and organisation at any place. When things are organised and in accordance with one another at any place, harmony exists in that place.
Harmony also refers to views and opinions of several people being in complete agreement. One should always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well. Adrian Smith had once remarked, “A band is sort of like a star. It reaches a peak and burns out. To have five guys working in perfect harmony longer than a couple years are difficult.”
