Make up refers to cosmetics which are applied on the face to enhance one’s beauty and appearance. Accurate and perfect make up can make you look really radiant and gorgeous. Girls apply basic cosmetics such as lip gloss, mascara, foundation lotion etc. Make up can conceal your dark complexion and can make you look fair. Make up should be light and simple rather than being very bright and loud. Make up should be applied on rare occasions. Using too much cosmetics can damage the texture of your skin also.
The phrase “make up” means to compensate for your follies or wrong doings by making the necessary moves. Donna Mills had once remarked, “Early on in my career, I'd go into the makeup trailer, and they'd spend an hour doing my makeup, and I would hate it. I'd go into the bathroom, wash it off and start over again, which took an enormous amount of time. So I just started doing it myself.”
