A mobster is literally defined in the English language as a person who proclaims themselves to be a member of a criminal mob organization. The word was first put to use in the early 1900’s as criminal mobs became more brave, more famous, and more apparent to the rest of the country and became sort of mainstream. Mobsters was a term coined and made famous in the early 1900’s and was a good term to represent members of mob families including the Capone family. A mobster is somebody who is or was involved in heavy criminal activity and that also identify with a particular crime syndicate or family. A mobster is also someone with no fear or feelings towards the victims of their crimes, and also seem to have no fear of the consequences of spending a great amount of time behind bars, or even of their lives ending with a premature death.
