Society is formed of people who live together collectively as a community in a specific region for a certain period. The relationship of a man with one another when associated in any way is what constitutes a society. All society members are fellowmen and companions. A society is perhaps the most cultivated portion of any community in terms of its social influences. In the words of Thomas Szasz, “Formerly, when religion was strong and science weak, men mistook magic for medicine; now, when science is strong and religion weak, men mistake medicine for magic.” People who dwell in a society are bounded by some common bond of nearness or intercourse. Society members interact with other through society meets and events which are organised on a timely basis. In the words of Martha Beck, “Good-looking individuals are treated better than homely ones in virtually every social situation, from dating to trial by jury.”
