Gossip means idle talk or rumour. Gossip mongers are people who indulge in such useless talk about others’ personal or private affairs. It is one of the means of sharing views and information but introduces errors or variation in the actual information which is real. Robin Dunbar, an evolutionary biologist had defined gossip as a means of binding various social groups together. Barbara Kruger had once remarked, “All the gossip and craziness becomes a kind of sustained narrative which, in turn, can become history. It's scary.”
