“I don’t want to lose you” are the words of someone who is in a serious relationship and is madly in love with his or her partner. The insecurity factor makes a person think that he might lose his beloved if his beloved starts liking someone else. This is why we say that relationships are a lot about mutual trust, faith and understanding. There are relationships in which both the partners are very clear about each other and want their relationship to eventually end in a marriage. Such partners who love each other truly, madly and deeply cannot stay without each other. They realize that they cannot afford to lose each other since they become an integral part of each other’s lives. None of us like to lose someone with whom we get attached or emotionally bonded. Especially couples who take their relationship seriously and invest a lot of emotions and time in it, cannot bear staying without each other, this is when these words come out from their mouth i.e. “I don’t want to lose you.” In the words of Jim Carrey, “I wake up some mornings and sit and have my coffee and look out at my beautiful garden, and I go, 'Remember how good this is because you can lose it. I've never been one to sit back and go, 'I'd better do what the audience wants me to do, because I don't want to lose them.”
