Justice means just behaviour or treatment. Justice is centred round being fair and square in every decision and being reasonable in your decision. Justice means to treat everyone equally without bias and granting someone something that rightfully belongs to him. Justice is what victims of crime demand and to mete justice to such afflicted people, we have the courts and the judiciary. In the words of Martin Luther King, “Human progress is neither automatic nor inevitable... Every step toward the goal of justice requires sacrifice, suffering, and struggle; the tireless exertions and passionate concern of dedicated individuals.”
Justice which gets delayed is often denied. Seekers of justice should be provided justice swiftly. Delayed justice has no meaning. Injustice means being unfair or unreasonable when it comes to forming an opinion. The moral arc of the universe bends at the elbow of justice. Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere.
