Separation is the act of separating or the state of being separate. Separation is also a means of chemical analysis. Several processes can be used for separation of different fluids from a mixture of fluids, with fractional distillation being one amongst the processes available. Separation can also be used to imply distance or being away from the company of your loved ones. After marriage, the word “separation” is often used to indicate divorce and before marriage when a couple separate, they are said to have a break up. Separation from your loved one is never easy and usually, very much tormenting. It can make life difficult as one has to deal with a kind of mental torture, if the separation is nasty. In this context, Lisa Snowdon had remarked, “And my parents' separation was tricky. But my mum had always been really honest with me, and treated me like an adult even when I was really young, so I knew they hadn't been getting on.”
