Believe In Your Dreams

Sometimes when we are down in the dumps, it is hard for us to even think about what dreams we have. It then becomes very easy to just focus on making our situation better and to forget about what dreams we may have had for ourselves. Little do we realize is that when we forget about following our dreams, we forget that we are forgetting a life that we never even got to know.

We are forgetting life experiences that we never were able to experience, riches we never saw to spend, people we never knew to love, and answers to questions we never knew to ask. Do not let your situation or circumstances determine your future, let whatever is in your heart determine your future. Even though going through hard times makes it difficult for us to believe and to hope, we must push through and believe in ourselves and in our dreams.

If we choose to see the obstacles that lie in our paths on the road to becoming who we truly want to be, then that is all we will see. We will fail before we even try because we will allow ourselves to be set up for this failure. Remember that your problems are only as big as you allow them to be.

One lesson that we must all learn in life is that there are going to be people in our lives and in the world period who just won't understand our dreams, and won't understand the goals that we set for ourselves in life. While some won't understand, some will refuse to understand as well, some will mock you, and some will try to talk you out of going for a dream that is just "too big" for you to accomplish, in their opinion.

Never forget to dream, and go for your dreams. Many of us get caught up in the world the way it is, and forget that if we dream, and go after our dreams we can make life the way that we want it to be. Through dreams we enter a world that is entirely our own, a world that we helped create with a vision, and with our hearts and minds. Through dreams our eyes are opened and our minds are renewed and refreshed.

Forgetting our dreams is kind of like planning a big trip, packing all of our bags, setting up itineraries and all, finally getting on the road and realizing that we didn't map out the trip and that we have no possible way of finding how to get to our vacation destination. Never forget your dreams, because your dreams are what guide you through life.

More often than not we are pushed and swayed by our problems, and are greatly influenced into following a path that we know would generate the least resistance, instead of keeping our eyes on the prize and going after what we dream of achieving. I am here to tell you today not to be swayed by tough times. Don't let a rough day at work influence you to quit before you know you don't have any other options.
