Forgive Those Who Have Hurt You In The Past

When we are dealing with forgiveness we have to realize that being able to forgive is more than a choice that we should make, instead, it is a choice we have to make. It is in our best interest to forgive because if we dont waive our feelings of negativity and our desire for another person to be condemned, we will be condemned ourselves.

Forgiveness isn't so much for the person that we need to forgive, it is actually more for ourselves and for our own well being. We can choose to hold on to the pain that a person may have caused us in the past, but doing so will only lead us to a point to where we will stop functioning. Remember that being able to forgive is a trait of someone who is strong, not really a trait of someone who has a weak mind.

The simple fact that you can carry a sword doesn't make you a warmonger. Just because there are many ways to look at ourselves are someone that we really aren't, doesnt ever mean that we should take advantage of them. If we are ever going to achieve real success, we have to be willing to live our lives as our actual selves.

There are many things that we should try to make a part of our daily routine, and way of living, that of course, we won't always be able to do, but we have to make sure that we at least try. We should always be truthful; because when we are truthful we will never have to worry about covering up or getting caught in a lie.

In life there is a lesson to be learned in all of your victories and all of your defeats. Don't let things like failed relationships bring you down or stop you from ever wanting to trust another human being again. Forgive those who have abused your trust, those who are supposed to be with you but act as if they are against you, those who have been willing to not only break your heart, but willing to betray you as well.

When you are able to forgive others, even if they are unapologetic for the wrongs that they have committed against you, only then will your mind truly be free. Those who are willing to hold grudges against those who trespass against them are only doing their own selves a disservice. Being unforgiving to someone doesn't benefit any person at all. It causes pain to be experienced over and over again that just doesn't need to be thought about on such a high level.

In every single person's life lies a mistake made by a person that they wish they could take back, whether they are ready to admit it or not. The only way to move past the regret of a mistake in our lives that still causes us pain is to forgive yourself for it. Not only is it our right to, but forgiving our selves allows us to move past obstacles in our lives that we would not have otherwise moved past without doing so.
