It Doesn't Make Sense To Hold On When There's Nothing There

One of the worst mistakes a person can make is to hold on to a relationship in which the other person just refuses to be present. We have to be willing to let go of relationships that dont make any sense.

If you find yourself in a relationship with someone who you have wanted for so long, but feel as though there is nothing tangible for you to hold on to while you are in it, then there is no point in continuing the relationship.

A relationship is built on a lot of things including trust, a true desire to be in the relationship with one another, honor, and respect. If you don't truly desire to be with the person that you are with, or if the other person in the relationship feels this way, both parties are inherently wasting their time. Be with who you want to be with, never make yourself stay where you don't want to stay, or try to force someone to stay in a spot that they no longer desire to be in.

As we grow and mature in life, we come to realize that there is a point in our lives that we have to be willing to simply let some people go. Not everyone is in your life for your benefit. Sometimes people only seek to control you, and will use any type of manipulation in an effort to do so. Some will try and judge you and condemn you, some will try to make you feel as if you are no good without their help, and some are only in to reap some sort of benefit from your life when you do start to accomplish great things.

As the quote says it feels good to be loved and for someone to show you how much that you mean to them on a regular basis. When you are special to someone you should feel that you are special to him or her. We should all be treated as the kings and queens that we are by those that we love. When somebody that we love is willing to show us how much they love us by even just doing the simple things such as drawing our baths, or giving us flowers, or taking us out to eat, we feel like we are appreciated.
