Quote on Failure

Many of us don't realize that innovation requires a lot of mistrials, errors, and failure. Without failure a lot of the tools we use in our everyday lives would not be in existence today. Thomas Edison an inventor who brought us some of today's biggest inventions including the light bulb, failed a few times. One of Edison's biggest failures was with his use of concrete. Trying to make concrete popular, Edison did things like used it to make pianos and other objects that we would never use concrete for today, and then later gave up on using concrete on everyday items. Edison still produced many successful inventions after this failure.

Being innovative requires a thick skin, seeing as many people get too discouraged to continue on when they have failed at something before. In order to be and stay innovative it is important to think outside of the box, take chances, document the things you do, seek inspiration from other people and ideas, rest your mind so that it will be clear enough to be creative, stay analytical thinking is key, and last but not least do not be afraid of failing. Think of failing as a stepping stone on the way to success!

Are you going to be a person who wants nothing out of life and chooses to sit there and let it pass you by? Are you going to be a person who wants everything out of life, and has the dreams to take his or her self there but never actually reaches out to grab them? Or are you going to be a go-getter, someone who is willing to grab life by the horns on a daily basis and seize each day.

One thing we have to learn in life is that we will make mistakes, we will do things wrong, but one of the worst things we can do when we do things wrong is to get so down on ourselves that we forget to keep pushing.

Choosing not to be brave enough to tackle the challenges in your life that may end up hurting you, and will definitely end up hurting you in the long run when we refuse to even attempt to take those risks. Sometimes the best way to learn is from our own past experiences, and if we have no eye opening experiences that we committed in the past, chances are we are going to encounter future instances and challenges in our lives that we will have to learn from one day.

Whether we choose to believe it or not some people in and around our lives don't want to see us succeed, and only want to see us fall. Usually people who wish ill will upon you like this are those who are envious of who you are, what you have, or what you are capable of doing. We may be proud but truthfully, we will all make mistakes, we will all fail, and yes we will all fall.
