You're Beautiful Just The Way You Are

Right now, go take a look in the mirror and tell yourself that you are beautiful, three times, aloud. If we listen to the world we live in today's subjective point of view on what beauty is, we would never realize our true beauty on the inside and out. If you are completely caught up with your beauty on the outside make it a point to look in the mirror every day, telling yourself a reason why you are beautiful even when it may be what you consider a flaw.

Say for example, you may think your eyes are too small, or too beady. Tell yourself how beautiful your eyes are. The most important beauty a person has is the person that they actually are on the inside. We must know who we are, and act in life only as our true selves, doing this will ensure that we are as perfect as humanly possible.

There is no beauty like the beauty that comes from inside of you. Because of society and because of huge influences of things like advertising (which many studies say is more influential than the things in America that we learn in school by the time we are older) and other forms of media, many of us feel as though what really makes us beautiful by radiating inside of us, isn't what true beauty really is, when in fact the only real and lasting beauty is the beauty that comes from within.

Be careful of those who are only with you because of what they see on the outside. Sometimes people get caught up in the fact of someone looking good and smelling good, while those who know better know that there is much more to a person than what meets the eye. Take time to get to really know who someone is before you start telling yourself that you are really interested in them, or that you really care about them.

Too many times in life many of us get caught up in showing love, and being kind to others, that we sometimes forget to show love and to be kind to our own selves. One thing that would help us all greatly is believing in ourselves. Not only are we beautiful individualized creatures of God, we are all so unique from one another, we all have different values and qualities that we emphasize more than others that make us exactly who we are.
